Prior to becoming an executive recruiter, Atkinson was an award-winning art director/producer and creative director for major agencies in St.Louis and Minneapolis. His work has been recognized in Communications Arts Advertising Annual, New York Art Directors and Copywriters' Club, Art Direction Magazine, and numerous awards competitions including Clios, Tellys and the local shows in St. Louis and Minneapolis where he won Best of Show for his work in television.

This base of experience allows him to connect quickly with clients and candidates in understanding the needs of both parties. Atkinson operates the business from his home in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, a Twin Cities suburb.
