Who profits from this? So often we ask
When trying to fit suspect to a crime.
Has kindness been criminalized?

A felony to give a gift, a misdemeanor to smile
Transgression unpardonable to speak
To you with affection and love

Some people can't see past their own trough
Admit motivations past vulgar or bestial...
All we can do is refuse to hear them

To motive selfish I will admit, not feeling at all ashamed
Seeing you smiles makes my heart sing
So I profit from that aplenty
