I find Plusp's info useful much of the time. However, just as with "Ain't nobody's business if I do" book (a good read), I have to recognize the author's biases.
Plusp's training is meant for the folks whose farthest ambition is to be able to clear leather and fire inthe general direction of the threat. These are people who train infrequently and ought to concentrate on the basics. Unfortunately, *effective* point shooting isn't a basic, it requires much training.
Darrell has a number of good points and some BS, just like most trainers. Some of his disciples are ditto-heads (BigG). Others seem to take his theories as yet another viewpoint (schlickenmeyer). Do we really have to take offense at their religious/tactical beliefs?
