I shoot my daughters and their friends a lot, all candids, and they really need to be doing and concentrating on something (action shot, fighting for possession of a soccer ball, say) to get enough expression on their faces to generate some photographic interest in my humble opinion. I mean it. I have always been interested in photography and look at a great deal of it. Everything you point a camera at has something unmistakably yours in it. I especially like your photographs of people. There are many, (too) many nature photographers around. Its not that hard to point a good camera at scenes in the wild and come up with something that looks good; I have friends who make a living doing this: stock photography with large format camera's. There houses are like art-galleries of nature. But after awhile it gets real boring (probably a reaction I've had to the over-emphasis on the environment our generation has had to endure). But your work I keep coming back to. Your pictures of people. They draw me in to such close proximity to your subjects I can almost feel their breath. And its not just for shooting close.
