I have used these two cameras prior to acquiring EOS D30 and 10D digital SLRs. At this time, I'd like to to sell them in order to get more lenses for the cameras I currently use.

$360, including accessories

Nikon 990 is a 3MP camera with fully manual and fully auto exposure and focus options. It has a 3x zoom lens with impressive macro capabilities (close focus is about one inch) It uses standard AA batteries. Most importantly for serious photographers, 990 works with external flashes. A cord for external flash ($40 from Nikon) and a custom flash bracket are included with this camera.

Hi-res

Here's an example of a picture taken with this digicam and a small external flash bounced off the ceiling. The original is full 2048 x 1536 pixels. This camera has been used for published magazine articles and the results looked better than from ISO100 slide film scans.

EOS Elan has been my main camera since 1993. In 1995, my first Elan was stolen and I bought an identical camera. Eventually, I added a used EOS1 for studio work, but Elan's better low-light AF and faster controls meant that it stayed in my camera bag until I went with all-digital imaging in late 2001. The EOS1 went to a friend, and the Elan stayed with me. Now it is time to find it a good home.

Comes with a wide strap, battery and the original manual. It would make a great backup for a professional or an upgrade from the Rebel series for an amature. $250.
