Mossberg 144 magazines

I have come to the conclusion that I need more magazines for that rifle. I have old 7 and 8 round magazines, and three newer 10-rounders…but all are starting to wear out. A good friend adjusted them for me, but they are unlikely to stand up to much more serious use. If anyone knows where I could get more of the magazines, preferably the factory models, please let me know. As far as I know, the magazine is common to the following rifle models: 140, 142, 144, 152, 250, 350, 352, 353.

    Havlin Sales claims to.

I’m surprised that Numrich doesn’t show one, but they might actually have them if you call/write.

For factory, I believe eBay is your best bet, if Numrich scores a miss; they should be relatively plentiful.

If you find any let us know. I have been searching for a new one for years. Numrich was a zero for me.

    They’ve got ’em here: https://www.havlinsales.com/22rifle.htm

    Not cheap, but available.

Just curious: by starting to “wear out”, just exactly what do you mean? I’ve got an old Belgian Browning T-Bolt from the 70’s that I’ve shot a bazillion rounds through over the years. Mags still going strong. What are they doing to indicate they’re wearing out?
