Is that Rhodesian camo in the background?
Yes, it is. Came from a gentleman who spent some time over there.
I love the Rhodie camo too, wish one could still buy it without going broke. Also, what caliber does it shoot?
5.7x28mm, same as P90 and FN57.
In the first picture, the angle is such that the muzzle brake looks like it’s part of the charging handle. It took me a while to be able to see it right.
How is the trigger constructed? It appears to be a metal rod that’s been ground at an angle and then dipped in clear plastic?

I’m kind of surprised that no one made a 9x18mm Makarov conversion back when the cheap surplus ammunition was available. They could have called it the MAK-11.
Interesting concept would be even better with some form of shoulder stock & semi-auto .
I agree, a carbine version would be much better.
